Esperanza Center - Catholic Charities of Baltimore

Client Services

Client Services is often the first place clients visit at the Esperanza Center. Our program handles over 5,000 inquiries annually to help immigrants navigate their way through agencies dealing with social services, housing, employment training, and assistance with adapting to U.S. culture. Our bilingual staff provides information and referrals including translations, assistance with forms, community advocacy and general orientation, notarizations, public health education, and more. Services includes translations (Spanish/English), assistance with forms, notary services, letters (income letters, support letters, etc.), community advocacy and orientation, assistance with school enrollment, applications for public benefits, referrals to governmental or other nonprofit service providers, and more.

Mission Statement

To welcome immigrants by offering hope, compassionate services, and the power
to improve their lives.

Please note: ***Our Volunteer Coordinator position is vacant as of 4/24/2026*** Esperanza Center is diligently working to hire a new Volunteer Coordinator who will follow up with you about next steps. Thank you for your patience during this transition period.
