Events at the Zoo
The Valley Zoo offers its guests special events throughout the year. Get involved to help out at our functions like Easter events, Mothers' Day, Canada Day, Halloween Boo at the Zoo, and Zoominesence throughout the winter months.
These opportunities usually involve crafting assistants, fire pit attendants, activity station helpers, photo booth assistants, and more!
The Edmonton Valley Zoo is not accepting new applicants at this time. Please check back at another time for more opportunities!
How to Get Involved

- Ages 13+ for Special Event Volunteers
- Ages 16+ for Visitor Experience Ambassadors

- Fill in an Application
- Volunteer positions may require a Police Records Check
- Some positions may also require an interview or reference checks or Police Information Check. You will be contacted if any of the above are necessary.
- You will be invited to attend our New Volunteer Orientation

- Once you have attended a Volunteer Orientation you can log in to MyImpactPage.com and start signing up for opportunities.
