Youth Program assistant

What You’ll Be Doing (Super Simple!)
You don’t need to plan or run activities — that’s our job!
We just need friendly adults to:
Help set up and pack down
Chop some fruit or snacks
Be a welcoming presence for the young people
Be there if someone needs a hand (or a bandaid!)

When & Where

  • Thursday evenings
  • Setup from 4:00pm, pack down by 6:30pm
  • Rotating roster – just one or two sessions a term makes a big difference!

Why It Matters
With your help, we can keep Battunga Youth open to all — without capping numbers. It’s a great way to connect with other parents, support local young people, and be part of something positive in your community.

Requirements
All volunteers need a valid Working With Children Check — but don’t worry if you don’t have one yet, we’ll organise it for you (free and easy).

Interested?
Pop your name down for our volunteer roster and help us keep this group safe, welcoming, and running strong!
