Landcare Volunteer

Hahndorf Landcare Group is seeking volunteers to assist with the maintenance of recovering bushland and the maintenance and development of areas planted with natives at the Hahndorf Recreation Grounds.

Tasks include weeding, slashing and growing native species and the project is supported by the NRM and Mt Barker District Council. This is an  opportunity for hands on involvement and learning about the natural environment and is an  opportunity to contribute to the local  community.

Mission Statement

Hahndorf Landcare Group works to support native plant and animal biodiversity  in our region. We look to protect existing bushland and to revegetate and maintain areas of public land with local native plants. We work with the support of the Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board, and Mt Barker District Council.
