Join Our Friendly volunteer team and be a part of this much‑loved gardening event onSunday 3 May at Stangate House, Aldgate. By becoming a Member of the Adelaide Hills Garden Affair Inc. (AHGA), you join a passionate community of gardening enthusiasts who work together to make every event flourish.
AHGA is a not‑for‑profit, volunteer‑run celebration of gardening held in autumn in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. As a volunteer, you’ll help bring this vibrant event to life while enjoying the satisfaction of contributing to a worthwhile community enterprise.
Why Join Up?
Members play a key role in supporting the work behind the scenes and on the day. Whether you prefer hands‑on tasks, welcoming visitors, or helping with logistics, there’s a place for everyone. Every contribution — big or small — helps.
Volunteers receive free entry on the day in exchange for at least 3 hours of your time.
Volunteer Roles. There are many ways to get involved, with tasks to suit all interests, skills and time commitments, including:
- Scanning tickets at the entry gates
- Assisting at the Information Tent
- Selling raffle tickets
- Supporting visitors in the Plant Crèche
- Helping erect small shelters on the day or beforehand
- Directing stallholders during set‑up
