Op Shop Retail Assistant

  • Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the Op Shop
  • Enjoy working in a retail setting
  • Gumeracha location, approx 5 hours per week on Thursdays (10:00am - 3:00pm)

 

The role

The Op Shop Retail Assistant volunteer is responsible for carrying out various tasks to run the shop. Duties include sorting, cleaning and selling donations from the community for resale as well as marketing and merchandising items for sale.

 

About you

You are comfortable in a retail setting with a warm and friendly manner. You enjoy interacting with people and can work well in a team environment. Having initiative and some creative thinking is an advantage in this role.
