Event Host Leader

  • Support people to stay healthy and active by connecting them to social and wellbeing activities in their local community and beyond
  • Assist our clients to have a positive experience by encouraging them to participate in activities 
  • Woodside location with travel through the Hills and surrounding areas, minimum 2 events per month between Monday to Friday and the occasional weekend or evening

 

The role

 

Volunteer Event Host Leaders assist with the delivery of the Hills Home and Community Support program, by hosting a group of clients to participate in social and wellbeing activities. Events may include mystery trips to destinations of interest, theatre/music performances, visits to art galleries lunches/dinners, visits to farmers markets, nurseries or other shopping destinations.

 

About you

 

Your ability to lead and facilitate groups is key to success in this role, along with your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with a broad range of people and work collaboratively.
