Property Maintenance
- Clean up park grounds and facilities
- Complete special or seasonal maintenance tasks as needed
- Do carpentry, remodeling or other minor construction projects
- Install park information signs
- Assist with minor equipment repairs and maintenance
- Build and maintain new and existing trails
Working Conditions: Mostly outdoors, possibly strenuous work at times. Projects may involve working with power tools and equipment. Volunteer will be typically working directly alongside Department staff.
Time Commitment: This position is intended for recurring volunteer hours (at least once per week for at least 4 consecutive weeks). Additional single day opportunities for volunteers will be scheduled throughout the summer season.
