Cozby Library and Community Commons
The Cozby Library does not offer regular volunteer opportunities for adults outside of the two organizations listed below. Adult volunteers are not permitted to shelve books. Please e-mail cozbyprograms@coppelltx.gov before applying if you have questions about volunteer opportunities at the library.
Community Builders
The Community Builders are a group of Coppell residents who meet regularly to plan programming that fosters a sense of belonging within the community, promotes positive citizen engagement, and celebrates the unique backgrounds and experiences of all community members. Community Builders is an ongoing, year-round opportunity.
Have an idea for a program?
The library occasionally partners with community members to add new programs to the calendar. If you have a talent you would like to share and are interested in leading a program, you can contact the library to discuss your idea.
Friends of the Coppell Public Library
The Friends of the Coppell Library are a non-profit support group independent of the library and the City of Coppell. They organize book sales, events, and fundraising activities to support the mission of the Cozby Library and Community Commons. This is a great way to become more involved in the local community. If you are interested in joining the Friends you must contact them directly: http://www.coppellfriends.org/
