How does the role help protect nature for wildlife?
Barb Martin Bushbank is a local native nursery that propagate indigenous plants for revegetation on Phillip Island on all land tenures. Propagating of indigenous plants improves the biodiversity of habitat used by wildlife and protects the rare and threatened vegetation types and plant species.
What will I be doing?
- Helping out with tasks to assist propagation of plants including nursery sowing seeds, pricking out seedlings, propagating cuttings, general plant husbandry and plant maintenance.
When is this opportunity available?
- Volunteers help at the Bushbank every Wednesday and Thursday. For this intake we are looking for Volunteers to fill the afternoon shift, 12:30pm - 3:30pm.
