Aged Care

Pastoral Care & Companionship Volunteers, typically members of local Lutheran congregations, work in partnership with the Chaplaincy team and Creative Lifestyle team to visit aged care residents who request social and spiritual connection. 

This position contributes to Lutheran Services by enhancing our ability to provide 1-on-1 or small group companionship and pastoral care to our residents. This serves our residents by focusing on their social and spiritual wellbeing, and how they wish to be engaged.
