Office/Organization Assistant

Brief description:

The Office Assistant will assist library staff with calls and correspondence, paperwork and other tasks as requested. Assist with general office duties. Stamping and other duties as requested. 

Hours/Duration:

Minimum commitment of one 2-4 hour shift per week, for a period of 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer the telephone and assist callers.

Other random duties as requested.

Job requirements:

Good organization and attention to detail, professional and polite with the public in person and on the telephone, basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and email, some light/moderate lifting of boxes of books. Experience in customer service is helpful but not required.
