Northern Health Auxiliaries

Auxiliaries in the Northern Health region play a key role supporting the needs of our hospitals, health care centres, and health services. Each auxiliary is made up of a board of community leaders and countless volunteers.

The auxiliaries support patient programs and services in their communities by raising funds to purchase vital medical, diagnostic, and surgical equipment. They work tirelessly to meet the challenge of limited health care budgets and increasing demands for services. In some communities, auxiliaries also volunteer within Northern Health facilities, enhancing the comfort of patients and improving their experience.

If you would like to find out more about auxiliaries in your community and join their work, please visit northernhealth.ca and search for auxiliaries. You'll find information on how to apply to each of the Northern Health auxiliaries.
