VOLUNTEER ROLE: Administrator [FREDIE/EDI]
REPORTS TO: Director of People and Culture/Deputy Director of People and Culture
LOCATION: Kent Hospice
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To support administration in relation to Demelza’s FREDIE initiatives and commitment.

ROLE/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

To undertake research in relation to FREDIE Awareness Days and share with Director and Deputy Director of People and Culture.

To work with the Director and Deputy Director of People & Culture, on content for internal awareness posts and communications.

To support maintaining FREDIE Files and MS Teams.

To link in with the internal communication team.

To schedule meetings for FREDIE Internal meetings.

To help with FREDIE events and initiatives.

To utilise the internal social media to post information about FREDIE initiatives, under the direction of the Director and Deputy Director of People & Culture.
SKILLS & QUALITIES:
-
Experience of utilising Microsoft applications, ideally Teams, Excel, Word and CoPilot.

Administrative skills.

Understanding of EDI.
TIME COMMITMENT:
Weekly or every two weeks for a morning or afternoon.
TRAINING AND SUPPORT:
You will be given a Volunteer Handbook, which covers mandatory training such as Moving & Handling, Fire, Data Protection and Safeguarding. In addition, you will complete an induction with your line manager. Specific, specialist training will be provided where appropriate/relevant to the area you will be assigned to. Ongoing support is available to volunteers through their line manager and the Voluntary Services team.
All volunteers must maintain their mandatory training to continue in their role.
UNIFORM/DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS:
Office based, smart/casual.
