Visitor Centre Volunteers

Visitor Centre Volunteers assist in the operation of the Visitor Services, including the collection, collation and provision of visitor information to enhance Northern Grampian Shire Council’s tourism profile.

How you can help

Assist with day-to-day operation of Visitor Services.

Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers.

Provide comprehensive information to satisfy visitor enquiries.

Provide positive and enthusiastic representation of Northern Grampians Shire Council, the destination, business and community to internal and external customers.

Maintain the Visitor Centre to ensure it remains clean and tidy.

Record daily enquiries, undertake visitor surveys and collection of visitor data.

Collation of collateral for conferences, events and general mail-outs.

Staff off-site booths at Northern Grampians Shire Council events.

 

Visitor services volunteers will act with honesty and integrity at all times. Northern Grampians Shire Council offers an environment free from bullying, harassment and other forms of discrimination. Volunteers will perform all tasks they have volunteered to undertake with all due care, skill and diligence to protect the safety of clients, volunteers, staff and Council.
