Christmas Tree Lighting Event
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to assist with the Christmas Tree Lighting. Volunteers will help with event set up, event-related activities and event breakdown. This event is for volunteers age 16 and older. Please dress in weather-appropriate (cold, rain, etc.) clothes and with closed-toe shoes. This is a family event so we would like there to be no cropped tops or very short shorts.
Location: Sugar Land Town Square, 15958 City Walk, Sugar Land, TX 77479 (Check in at the City's Blue Tent)
Date: Friday, November 20
Shift: 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Volunteers Needed: 20 (16yrs old & up please)
**Very Important Information**
We will not tolerate volunteers playing on their phones during the event. We understand the need to check-in with loved ones, but excessive use will not be tolerated, and you could be asked to leave. All volunteers are expected to arrive promptly at the start time. There will be a variety of tasks - this includes assisting vendors with setup, managing the kid zone, floating around different stations, running errands, assisting the Santa Experience, and helping with breakdown at the end. Remember, this is a one-shift commitment for the full 6 hours—no early dismissals allowed! Your support is super important and greatly appreciated.
