Community Meals

Community Meals

We host Community Lunches across Victoria and Tasmania. Volunteers provide a free, nourishing, healthy meal to people in the community who want to socialise or find out about the services available in their area. Our meals change seasonally, but often consist of hot food such as barbeque meats, plates of cold meats, salads and other dishes, and bread.  The program is extremely popular, with over 30,000 people attending every year. Attendees can meet people from their local community, chat to friends, enjoy a hot meal, and seek assistance if needed, in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
