A unique new Op Shop is open in Fitzroy. Our beautiful light- filled shop on bustling Nicholson Street offers quality and premium labelled preloved fashion and homewares. Embracing our location vibes our shop also stocks a variety of retro and vintage treasures.

Uniting Op Shops provide affordable clothing and homeware items in a welcoming and inclusive environment, while providing an essential role in funding Uniting’s program delivery. Our aim is to delight customers in a meaningful and memorable way in a contemporary retail environment that is positive, creative, inclusive and fun! From creating a vibrant and dynamic space using imaginative displays of quality donations, to serving and assisting customers, working behind the scenes with sorting and tagging stock or participating in fashion events, the Fitzroy shop is unique.

Volunteers are at the heart of our organisation and a crucial part of our op shops. We are flexible and work to accommodate busy volunteers. Ideally, you'll be available 1 – 3 days per week for full day or half day shifts. If you like fashion, people, customer service, merchandising, have an interest in the environment and learning new skills - any or all the above! – then this opportunity is for you.

Let's work together encourage and educate the community to shop smarter, buy better and upcycle or reuse unwanted goods. By volunteering at our shop, you can play a vital role in the circular economy. 20 items of general clothing upcycled will save 278.00 kg of CO2 Emissions.
