Counselling
Discover a safe space and confidential care with our counselling service.

People feel supported by our committed, qualified counsellors. We’ll be there for you as people focus on wellbeing, working together to achieve their goals.

You can find support for:

  • Ongoing mental health issues
  • Relationship issues
  • Managing depression
  • Managing anxiety
  • Working through grief
  • Dealing with change
  • Self-harm prevention
  • Suicide prevention. 

Sessions can be delivered weekly, fortnightly or monthly. 


Youth counselling - headspace Horsham.

headspace Horsham is a free and confidential service for young people between 12-25 promoting wellbeing in health. Working to reduce the impact of mental illness on young people, we are an inclusive space that responds to the needs of youth and young people. 

Together, we tackle the real issues, including:

  • Mental wellbeing
  • Sexual health
  • Alcohol and drug issues
  • Education, employment and more.

A Youth Reference group advises Horsham staff and consortium on projects and programs. A LGBTIQ+ support program is also available.


Voices Vic


Peer-led support.


Led by peers with lived experience in hearing voices, Voices Vic provides recovery groups, mentoring and one-on-one support.

Our team also facilitates training across Australia for organisations and individuals who work with voice hearers.

Anyone who hears voices or is a family member, friend, support worker, carer or clinician can contact our team. 


Mental health residential services

A number of residential rehabilitation properties across Victoria, we can provide you with a range of independent and supported housing opportunities.

Residents are encouraged to:

  • Maintain connections with families and carers, communities and practical supports
  • Develop daily living skills, personal development
  • Become an active member of local community.

Our round-the-clock support will help people:

  • Manage symptoms so they can enjoy a better quality of life
  • Address health concerns as and when they come up
  • Avoid going to hospital unless absolutely necessary
  • Achieve goals.

 


St Kilda Engagement Hub

The St Kilda Engagement Hub offers a unique community service for adults with severe and enduring mental health issues.

The hub operates as a 'drop in' Centre, focussing on encouraging your individual strengths and abilities, our friendly team can support people to connect with a wide range of mental health services.

On site at the hub, people can access:

  • Daily meals
  • Laundry facilities and showers
  • Group outings
  • Workshops and activities - including art, drama, gardening, meditation, yoga, music, women's programs, writing and trivia.

 


Students studying a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor or higher in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health are encouraged to apply for placements.
