Volunteer Voices for Horses

Sick, injured and homeless pets have relied on Blue Cross for help since 1897. Each year, thousands of dogs, cats, small pets and horses turn to the charity’s animal hospitals, clinics and rehoming services for treatment and support.

Our Voices for Horses volunteers help to promote our horse related activities and stories via social media.

We would love you to join us and help us help more pets in need

You’ll help to improve awareness of the work of  the  Blue Cross horse team while having fun!

To volunteer for this role there is a minimum age of 18

The role of a Voices for Horses Volunteer

Aims : to spread Blue cross horse related messages and raise awareness of the work we do.

• Share posts about educational topics or raising awareness of seasonal specific issues
• promote horses which are looking for homes
• share fundraising events
• share case studies or stories

Tasks include:

• Sharing specific posts on social media.
• Share to horse related groups across a specific, agreed location.
• Likely to be 1-3 posts each month

To be a Voices for Horses Volunteer

You will need to:

• Have access to Facebook.
• Belong to horse related groups in your area, or another agreed location
• Be able to share FB posts, which we will provide, to other horsey groups in a specific area
• Be able to accept direct marketing emails. This is so that we can send you posts about our fundraising events.
