Have you got what it takes to support a group of like-minded people to undertake volunteering activities to support the work of Blue Cross?  Your local Blue Cross Rehoming and Advice Unit is looking for someone to help recruit and provide support to volunteers in your local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your CV and use your skills to help pets in need.


What you will be doing:

  • Be part of the team working with Blue Cross to help pets in need

  • Help to recruit new volunteers and support volunteer recruitment campaigns

  • Provide ongoing support for our volunteers including helping to organise induction and training events, dealing with queries and providing regular contact

  • Keeping our volunteer management database up to date with accurate records


What we are looking for:

  • Organisational skills and good attention to detail

  • Some volunteer management experience would be beneficial

  • Computer literate

  • Regular commitment and reliability

  • Ability to work in a team or alone

  • Willingness to learn and follow Blue Cross procedures

Time commitment: Flexible but a regular commitment is required.
