Lane Cove National Park Community Tree Planting Day - 3 March 2024

Welcome to the Lane Cove National Park tree planting for the endangered Duffy’s Forest. It’s time to get your hands dirty and plant some native trees for our park!

Location - Walking track between Downes St and Malton Road in North Epping.

Duties include:

  • Digging small holes with hand tools for plantings
  • Planting seedlings in holes
  • Installing tree guards and stakes to support seedlings.
  • Watering seedlings with watering can

Activity will last for approximately 2-3 hrs, drinking water and a sausage sizzle will be provided by NPWS for volunteers and staff.
