Camp Volunteers (Live On-Site)
Welcome to the City of Grand Prairie Lake Parks on Joe Pool Lake and the Park Camp Volunteer Program. Our goal is to make you a part of our team, which endeavors to ensure a meaningful recreational experience for the visiting public. We also want to impart an understanding and appreciation of the lake’s natural and recreational resources.
From time to time, the City of Grand Prairie seeks park volunteers to aide the office, gate and field staff in assisting the public with reservations, clerical, fee collection, grounds keeping and facility maintenance and repair.
Lake Parks staff will review submitted applications and contact applicants only when there is a suitable opening.
