Activities Support Worker

Flintshire Families Disability Service are looking for volunteers who want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people challenged by disability both physically and neurologically. We love what we do. And why wouldn't we? Every day is different, and you'll help change young people's lives! Not only this but you'll have a passionate, and knowledgeable Team working alongside you and a leadership team behind you who know the job inside out, supporting you with every step.

Are you able to

  • Be patient, reliable and able to work as part of a team
  • Have a non-judgemental attitude
  • Understand the needs and issues faced by disabled children, young people, and their families

 

What can you expect

  • Interaction with our children and young people; listening to what they have to say, and ensuring their voice is heard
  • Joining in and helping with activities, events, and days out
  • Contributing to children/young people’s social and emotional development
