Bucks Activity Project provides community short breaks to children and young people aged 0-19 with disabilities and additional learning needs across Buckinghamshire. We currently have around 300 children registered with the service and have been running for over 20 years. Our office team need help to get through their large workload to support our front-line staff. Short Breaks have positive benefits for both children and young people with disabilities and their parents and carers. They give children and young people time away from their family so they can develop independence, learn new skills, make friends, and reduce loneliness whilst giving parents and carers a break from their caring responsibilities and providing time to spend with other children in the family.

At the moment we are looking for volunteers to help us run our project. We need people who are enthusiastic, fun-loving and pro-active to help out in our sessions with the children, and we also need organised and focused people to help us in the office with our admin tasks.
