Community Orchard

Campbelltown Community Orchard Volunteers Required

The community orchard is a collection of fruit and nut trees grown on Council land, maintained by local volunteers. It’s a space where people can connect, care for the environment, and share in the harvest.

The Campbelltown Community Orchard was established in 2016, with local community members working alongside Campbelltown City Council to plant a diverse range of fruit and nut trees.

📍 Location: Behind the playground at Reservoir Road Reserve, Paradise.

Volunteer with Us

Volunteers meet regularly for working bees to help care for the trees and orchard space. It’s a great opportunity to meet others, learn new gardening skills, and enjoy the rewards of shared effort.

Working Bee Schedule:

  • Third Sunday of each month | 10:00am – 12:00pm
  • Monday (two weeks after the Sunday session) | 3:30pm – 5:00pm

Volunteer Activities Include:

  • Spreading mulch
  • Weeding
  • Fertilising
  • Netting and pruning fruit trees
  • Sharing skills, stories, and food with other community members

You’re welcome to join in as often as you like and stay for as long as you’re able and choose the tasks you’re most comfortable with.
