Pact in Wales & South West England

Court Volunteer North Wales

About this service

Pact is a registered charity supporting people affected by imprisonment providing practical and emotional support to prisoners' children and families, and to prisoners themselves. The imprisonment of a family member can be devastating for those left behind. Prisoners’ families face multiple disadvantage in their everyday lives, without any recognised system of statutory support.  PACT has gained the support of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation in introducing ‘A Way Home’ project. Mae Pact yn elusen gofrestredig sy'n cefnogi pobl y mae carchariad yn effeithio arnynt, trwy ddarparu cymorth ymarferol ac emosiynol i blant a theuluoedd carcharorion, ac i'r carcharorion eu hunain. Gall carcharu aelod o'r teulu gael effaith arswydus ar y rhai sy'n cael eu gadael ar ôl. Mae teuluoedd carcharorion yn wynebu anfanteision lluosog yn eu bywydau pob dydd, heb unrhyw system gydnabyddedig o gymorth statudol. Mae PACT wedi derbyn cymorth gan Sefydliad Elusennol Albert Gubay i gyflwyno prosiect 'Ffordd Adref'. Bydd y prosiect hwn yn cefnogi plant a theuluoedd carcharorion i gadw eu lle a'u cartref yng nghymunedau Gogledd Cymru.

Mae ein Gwasanaeth Llysoedd yn darparu cymorth i deuluoedd sydd ag anwyliaid yn mynd trwy broses y llys. Rydym yn gweithio mewn nifer o Lysoedd y Goron a Llysoedd Ynadon ar draws Gogledd Cymru, gan gynnwys Caernarfon, Llandudno, yr Wyddgrug, Wrecsam a'r Trallwng.

·      Sicrhau bod digon o daflenni ynghylch y Gwasanaeth ar gael yn y llys.

·      Datblygu cysylltiadau gwaith da â staff y llys, gan gynnwys: clercod, porthorion, rhestrwyr, y Gwasanaeth Prawf, Swyddogion Diogelwch, y Gwasanaeth Tystion - a rhoi gwybod iddynt am y Gwasanaeth Llys a gwaith Pact.

·      Cofnodi manylion yr holl wybodaeth a roddir i deuluoedd / gwnsler yr amddiffyniad / asiantaethau eraill yn y llys ar ffurflenni monitro Pact a dychwelyd y ffurflen wedi'i llenwi at y Cydlynydd Llysoedd ar ddiwedd pob mis.

Rydym yn chwilio am y canlynol:

·      Gwirfoddolwyr brwd, cryf eu cymhelliad 18 oed a throsodd, i weithio fel rhan o dîm sy'n cefnogi teuluoedd carcharorion yn y Llysoedd ac yn y gymuned.

·      Ymrwymiad i weithio o leiaf un diwrnod bob wythnos am chwe mis neu fwy.

·      Cysondeb, proffesiynoldeb a dibynadwyedd.

·      Parodrwydd i ddarparu cymorth empathig, anfeirniadol a chyfrinachol i deulu/aelod o deulu.
