Friends of the Wetlands - First Working Bee

Come support your local wetlands

When: Third Saturday of the month  

Time: 8-10 am

Location: Daly Street, Tivoli (North Ipswich Wetlands)

Friends of the Wetlands Bushcare group are one of Council’s newest groups. They are located at North Ipswich Wetlands. They just had their first working bee during June, and are currently looking for more volunteers and planning for their regular working bees for the third Saturday of each month at 8 am for two hours.  To get involved meet at the carpark, located at the end of Daly St, Tivoli.

Sign up as a volunteer here and be kept in the loop on working bee dates, training and volunteer celebrations.

How many volunteers are needed? Unlimited, bring your friends!

Pre-Requisites: For the initial volunteer shift you’ll be asked to sign a volunteer form before starting work.  These are available on the day. Those wanting to join as a regular member will need to sign up as a regular volunteer, to do this you'll need to sign up on the Council Volunteer portal follow MyImpactPage - Application Form - Infrastructure and Environment (betterimpact.com) and complete all online induction training and sign the Volunteer Agreement form to be covered by insurance.

Please wear a hat, long pants and closed in shoes. Remember to bring drinking water and your own snacks. Sunscreen is available.
