Customer Service Volunteer – The Red Thread Gift Shop Program (M-F, 8:15a-12:45p, 12:15p-4:45p)
Do you love interacting with a diverse group of people and have 4 to 5 hours a week to share? Can you make a one-year commitment?
The Red Thread Gift Shop, Foothills Medical Centre, requires energetic volunteers interested in providing compassionate customer service to patients, visitors and staff in a busy, beautifully merchandised retail environment. Through the sales of a variety of merchandise from apparel and gifts to confectionary items and toys, the volunteer powered gift shop provides a significant annual donation to the hospital in support of patient care and comfort.
Role Requirements
- Experience interacting with the public
- Comfort with handling cash
- Able to be on your feet for 4 to 5 hours
- Enjoys being busy
- Able to attend a 4 to 5 hour weekly scheduled shift
Current Opportunities
- Volunteers- Wednesday mornings, Friday mornings/afternoons, occasional daytime hours.
