Patient & Family Support - Complementary Care
Patient and Family Support - Complementary Care volunteers fulfill the training, requirements, responsibilities, and qualifications of a Patient & Family Support volunteer, and are required to maintain their professional credentials.
Volunteers with proper certification can serve in a number of ways, including:
- Massage Therapy
- Reiki
- Healing Touch
- Cosmetology
- Acupuncture
Hope Hospice partners with local agencies to bring the comfort of both human and animal companionship to our patients. Volunteers interested in participating must meet the requirements of a Patient & Family Support volunteer, and pets must be certified through the Canine Comfort program.
