Mission Hospice

Provide specialized comfort care to patients such as energy work or animal social visits. Gentle massage and energy work (Reiki or Healing Touch) is a therapeutic modality to aide in the symptom management of a terminal illness. Requires highest certification level available, plus the required Patient Care training. Animal Social Visits provide social and emotional support to patients. Pet teams must have up to date certification from an accredited animal-training program and current vaccination records, in addition to Patient Care training.
