Patient Complementary Care
Provide specialized comfort care to patients such as energy work or animal social visits. Energy Work is a therapeutic modality to aide in the symptom management of a terminal illness. (Reiki, Acupressure, or Healing Touch). Requires highest certification level available, plus Patient Care training. Animal Social Visits provides social and emotional support to patients. Animal team must have previous certification from an accredited animal-training program, plus Patient Care training.
