Henry W. Coe State Park Uniformed Volunteer Program
You can help us keep it beautiful and available to all by becoming a Coe Volunteer. Meet new friends and learn new skills. We have a place for you.
Henry W. Coe State Park Uniformed Volunteers help the staff and Rangers in so many ways. We help build and maintain the trails you walk/ride/bike on. We lead walks on many topics, including wildflowers, birds, fungi, trees, geology, animal tracking, photography, sketching and nature journaling. Even night hikes to listen for owls and head to viewpoints where together we watch the park change as the sun sets. We host unique events for park visitors including the Tarantula Festival, Ranch Day, Raincoats & Rubber Boots, Mother's Day Breakfast, 5k/10K Fun Run and the wonderful Backcountry Weekend. We staff the Visitor Center and help you plan your adventures.
Want to share your passion for nature? Ready to help preserve the park? Join us! We have a place for you in the Uniformed Volunteer Program.
