Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods

The Visitor Center at Armstrong Redwoods SNR and Austin Creek SRA was started by volunteers John and Pauline Gilbert and funded by Stewards in 1986. The proceeds from the merchandise benefit the work that Stewards does to support the park.

Tasks: This is a great opportunity to share information with people from all over the world, share your love of the redwoods, and meet new people. Volunteers provide visitors with park information and sell interpretive merchandise.

Volunteers staff the center year-round, seven days a week from 10 AM – 4 PM.
