Emerald Bay SP Camp Host

Boat Camp (late May through September, weather dependent)
Located on north side of Emerald Bay (Gated service road). Boat-in Campground contains 20 boat-in campsites and is approximately 1 mile north of Vikingsholm on the Rubicon Trail.
Eagle Point Campground (late May through Labor Day)
The Eagle Point Campground consists of 100 campsites and is located at the south end of Emerald Bay. 2 Host sites. Seven miles north of South Lake Tahoe. Trailer Max: 29ft or Motorhome 31ft.
Lake Tahoe – the gem of the Sierra. Come enjoy the beauty of the lake and the mountains. Camp Host duties include greeting visitors and providing assistance and information, firewood sales, staffing entrance stations, staffing the visitor center, reporting incidents and emergencies, light maintenance and conducting camp and parking checks. Each Camp Host site has a picnic table, fire ring, food storage locker, 110 volt 30 amp electrical hookup and a sewer hookup. Due to the black bear presence in the park, hard sided equipment is required for hosts. Minimum commitment of 4 months, 30 volunteer hours per week and be available on all weekends and holidays.
