Carlsbad SB Camp Host

Carlsbad State Beach is located in San Diego County in the city of Carlbad. It has 223 campsites and 10 combination buildings (restroom/showers). The typical appointment for this volunteer position is four months. Hosts sites offer a picnic table, fire ring, electricity, water and sewer hookups.
Maintenance Camp Host duties include:
- Restroom cleaning & sanitization
- Restocking restroom toilet paper boxes in alleyways
- Cleaning campsites and emptying firepits
- Assists in maintenance projects
- Cart inspection
- Trash collection throughout park
- Weeding
- Reporting and assisting in repairs and emergencies
- Unlocks day use gates in campground in morning
