Silver Strand SB Camp Host
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for California State Parks as a camp host at Silver Strand State Beach!
San Diego weather and ocean view. Volunteers perform traditional campground host duties, including such tasks as greeting campers and answering questions, informing campers of park regulations, checking in campers, conducting camp checks, light maintenance and checking restrooms. Camp Hosts are expected to be available 3 or 4 days a week. Minimum 3 month commitment and 30 volunteer hours per week for an active and friendly person or couple, enthusiastic about good customer service. Essential functions include ability to walk several times around the campground, bending, sweeping, and using as shovel for sand cleanup. RV site and full hookups provided.
