Natural Resource Generalist Volunteer

The purpose of the Natural Resource Volunteer is to assist the restoration and conversion of non-native vegetation back to native plant communities throughout the Santa Cruz District. This position aids Natural Resource Management (NRM) of the Santa Cruz District by removing identified and prioritized non-native vegetation populations from the Parks. A Natural Resources Volunteer may weed, water, mulch, and plant native species within a certain area. there may be other opportunities to help maintain rare plant populations. This position may also interact with the public because restoration areas are generally located next to trails or other Parks infrastructure.
