Silverwood Lake SRA Campground Host

We are currently seeking Campground Hosts at this beautiful lake located in San Bernardino County and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest.  Silverwood Lake was formed by the 249-foot Cedar Springs Dam. At 3,350 feet, it is the highest reservoir in the State Water Project. The park features hiking trails, swimming beaches and designated areas for boating, water-skiing and fishing. The lake has trout, large-mouth bass, striped bass, catfish and bluegill. There is a marina with a launching ramp, boat and equipment rentals, and a store. The park has 136 camp sites and several picnic areas. The lake attracts waterfowl, raptors and songbirds. Osprey and bald eagles fish the lake in the winter.

Campground Host duties include assisting visitors, performing light janitorial and maintenance, conducting interpretive programs, and encouraging compliance with park rules and regulations (although hosts do not perform actual law enforcement duties). Campground Hosts may also perform a multitude of other duties to help the park. Two Campground Hosts sites with full hook-ups are available.
