Camp Host at Wassama Roundhouse SHP
(Availability year around) Located in Ahwahne'e, about 45 minutes from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park, this historic park preserves a traditional Southern Sierra Miwok Indian site and Roundhouse (dance house) which is actively used by the Miwok people. This is a free day-use park open to the public only on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Hosts are needed from November 1 to April 30th and from May 1 to October 31st. Duties include greeting visitors and providing information about the park, housekeeping and light groundskeeping. Host site has full hookups and laundry facilities.
