Special Events
Special Event Volunteers are one of the essential parts in creating the 1800s atmosphere we strive to achieve at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. We rely on our numerous volunteers dressed in both period and visitor services attire to help monitor museums to accommodate higher visitor numbers, facilitate traditional games and activities in the plaza, as well as to give living history demonstrations during our special events.
