Special Events
Special Event Volunteers are one of the essential parts in creating the 1800s atmosphere we strive to achieve at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. We rely on numerous volunteers to help monitor museums to accommodate higher visitor numbers, facilitate traditional games and activities in the plaza, and assist with setup and takedown during our special events. Special event volunteers enter into a short-term volunteer contract for the duration of their service and are kept on a mailing list that provides regular updates for opportunities.
