Archaeological Site Stewards

Archaeological Site Stewards help protect archaeological resources in the Colorado Desert District which includes Palomar Mountain State Park, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and Anza Borrego Desert State Park.  Site Stewards attend a one-time weekend training and commit to visiting at least one archaeological area in the parks a minimum of 2-times a year.  Training is offered once a year usually in January.
