Carnegie SVRA volunteer information
Carnegie SVRA offers two volunteer programs and are trail patrol and trail maintenance.
Trail maintenance volunteers will meet once a month on the 2nd Sunday of every month with trail staff for about 4 hours. Volunteers will hand tool trails, weed whacking, and combat trail erosion.
Trail Patrol volunteers help the Rangers patrol the trails, keep visitors on trail, and help with medicals. Volunteers can choose when they come in and how many hours they would like to do. We recommend coming in at least once a month for a couple hours. You are welcome to participate in both programs.
Occasionally there are volunteer opportunities during special events like the Hill Climb races and Carnegie's Visitor Appreciation Day.
