Blacksmith
Blacksmith volunteers use period correct tools and methods to interpret the role of the blacksmiths in a major hard rock gold mine circa 1925. Operate a blacksmith forge and handle tools, fire, and water to create hooks, picks, and candle holders. After an extensive training process, you will be ready to create something that will last forever for our visitors. Forged items are sold in the blacksmith shop and gift shop, to defray the costs of the blacksmithing program.
