Richardson Grove SP Camp Host
(Year Round) This park has up to 4 camp host sites/positions available. One is located in Huckleberry Campground (site #1) with full hook-ups. Three are located in the non-public service area, overlooking the Eel River, all with water, electric and sewer hook-ups (new in 2021). Camp host positions available in visitor services campground operations AND/OR visitor center operations. Duties include camp checks, camper registration, firewood sales, and occasional light maintenance, AND/OR staffing the Visitor Center. The park includes 172 developed campsites (at full operation July 1- Labor Day) located along the scenic South Fork of the Eel River, surrounded by towering coast redwoods, an historic visitor center, miles of hiking trails and excellent swimming and fishing opportunities, depending on the season.
