Bodie State Historic Park - Volunteer Information
Volunteering at Bodie SHP allows you to share your knowledge of Bodie and love for history with visitors from all over the world. Volunteers at Bodie enhance the visitor experience by providing interpretive talks and tours, answering questions throughout the park and in the museum, being a presence to prevent theft or vandalism, promoting and facilitating the Junior Ranger program, lending a hand during special events, and more.
Through your contribution of time and energy, the public will have a better understanding, awareness and appreciation of Bodie, the California State Park System and the Bodie Foundation, our non-profit cooperating association.
