Mount Diablo State Park Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Mount Diablo State Park! Volunteers support the park in a variety of areas from trail work, to staffing a small visitor center, to leading and helping with interpretive hikes and school programs, to roving trails, to restoring historic Diablo Stoves, and much more. As a volunteer, in addition to helping the park, you would be joining a great group of people who enjoy what they do.
The first step to become a State Park Volunteer at Mount Diablo is to participate in one of our orientation sessions. To take this training you can add your name to our waiting list by emailing vippmountdiablo@parks.ca.gov. Once there are enough people on the list to hold an orientation, we will schedule a date and reach out to you.
