Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center volunteers take pride in helping park visitors learn, discover, and explore Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, and in being part of a team that includes seasonal staff, scientists, park rangers, interpreters, and our cooperating association, Anza-Borrego Foundation.
The award-winning Visitor Center is a fun place to work, and volunteers commit to at least 48 hours of “floor duty” time each year, for a minimum of three years, as well as fulfilling continuing education requirements on an annual basis.
The 80-hour training class is held on Friday nights in the fall and winter live only (no virtual option) in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center Discovery Lab, as well as all-day field trips on Saturdays.
