Mt. San Jacinto State Park
Mt San Jacinto has open volunteer positions for the Visitor Center. Here, the volunteers provide information about our short hikes and hikes in the wilderness, sell State Park merchandise and promote sales of other items that support the Natural History Association of MSJ. After fulfilling the requirements of the Visitor Center, volunteers have the opportunity to lead guided nature walks for the public during the summer months. Each volunteer is encouraged to develop their own theme as they engage and educate the public on the short hikes. Training is available and additional opportunities to become a wilderness patroller. Volunteers are also encouraged to help with school groups and other educational activities and are welcome to attend Natural History Association hikes and classes.
